Karatube has no sign in and asks for no email address, name or password. The first time you create a queue or save a song, the site gives your browser a random ID and stores it in a cookie. That ID is the only thing that links you to your queues and your playlist.
Queues. The 4 digit code, the songs added to it (YouTube link, title and thumbnail), the display name the person adding a song chose to type, reactions, and which ID created the queue.
Playlist. The songs you saved, tied to your random ID.
Session. Your random ID, when the session started, and the IP address and browser identification string of the request that started it. These are kept to keep the service secure and to deal with abuse.
We do not show ads, we do not track you across other sites, and we do not sell any information.
Songs play through YouTube's embedded player and are found through the YouTube Data API. When you play a video or search, YouTube receives the request and handles it under its own terms and privacy policy.
A queue that nobody has added to or reacted to for 30 days is closed and its code is reused. Clearing your browser's cookies separates you from your playlist: the data stays on our servers but nothing can reach it any more. To have a queue or playlist removed, contact us through the Help page with the queue code.
Questions about this policy can go through the Help page.
